Facilities
The School offers a broad range of facilities; it has a large Lecture Theatre and smaller seminar rooms, an excellent Library and well equipped Macintosh computer labs, three Gallery spaces - the School Gallery, the Foyer Gallery and Photospace - along with a number of sites for smaller temporary exhibitions. Rapid Prototyping equipment is available and the Inkjet Print Studio, attached to the Photography and Media Arts Workshop, offers a print service to all students and to members of the public. The School's Workshops and Studios are well-equipped. There are facilities for papermaking, screenprinting, lithography and etching, a state-of-the-art analogue darkroom, facilities for multimedia production and editing, computer labs, glass blowing, casting and slumping facilities, tapestry looms, ceramic kilns, well-lit drawing and painting teaching rooms, a bronze foundry, and a state of the art gold and silversmithing workshop There is a popular cafe, Chats, within the School and a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. As well, banking, health services, a student run organic shop, and the sports union, are all within close proximity.
