Nikki Main, Honours 2008

Erin Conron, Honours 2007

Students from the School of Art Glass Workshop have been extremely successful in their professional careers, exhibiting to critical acclaim in Australia and internationally and also receiving scholarships and academic awards. We have graduated a number of highly talented individuals over the past few years who are already making their mark nationally and internationally: Erin Conron (graduated 2008) is a finalist in Talente 2009, Germany; Ruth Oliphant (graduated 2008) and Minoru Shimomura (graduated 2007) have both been awarded solo exhibitions at high profile galleries for their work in the Ausglass exhibition in January 2008; Nikki Main (graduated 2008) received the residency award this year from Canberra Glassworks; and Tevita Havea (graduated 2006) has been recently announced as the recipient of the Urban Glass New Talent Award which he will receive in 2009. This is but a small representation of the success of our recent graduates.
