There were ten prizes awarded in three categories: projects, organisations and private patrons of the year with China-India cultural exchange programme West Heavens winning in the project of the year category.

The ceremony was held on May 13, 2014 at Asia Society Hong Kong, on the evening before the opening of Art Basel Hong Kong.

The award has been founded to promote the communication and development of art and culture across Asia, and encourage the artistic research and exchange in the region.
