Honours Candidate in the Sculpture Workshop, ANU School of Art, Joel Bliss, holds his first solo exhibition in Sydney at the Brenda May Gallery. The exhibition "World After" runs from 5 to 30 May 2009

"I have attempted to create an apocalyptic vision of potential future environmental neglect. My materials are raw and rough - representative of the harsh reality of a degraded Australian environment. Imposing in scale, my sculptures create a feeling of an impending threat." -Joel Bliss
