Each year the School's Workshops organise short courses, intensive summer and winter schools or master classes and term-long specific interest programs.

Winter, Summer and Master classes are routinely organised; these sometimes coincide with conferences or seminars, or are planned to target intensive training in a particular area. They are intended to make the high level skills of the staff available to a broader audience.

Term-long classes are offered by the Visual Art Access program. This program is run jointly by the ANU Centre for Continuing Education and the School of Art.
