Adele Rae Cameron graduated with honours from the Textiles Workshop at the Australian National University in 2013. She has received several exhibition awards both in Canberra and the Far South Coast and is currently working at the ANU School of Art and Design as Technical Officer in the Textiles Workshop.  Adele is a textile artist/sculptor working with found objects and organic material sourced from her own environment. She makes sculptures and installations from trash she finds locally using textile processes such as weaving, binding and stitching.  She also creates natural dyes from Australian natives for mark making on cloth and wood.  Found aged metal is not only a strong feature in her sculptures but also produces prints on wood and fabric.
