Alison Alder's work blurs the line between studio, community and social/political art practice. She has worked within community groups, research institutions and Indigenous organisations. Her research interests encompass printmedia, art and social policy, political and social graphics. Alder’s work has been exhibited in several key Australian exhibitions including Making It New: Focus on Contemporary Australian Art at the Museum of Contemporary Art. She is a Fellow of the Australian Prime Ministers Centre at the Australian Museum of Democracy and her work is held in major national, state and international collections.
