Study Protocols

students at workStudents studying at the ANU School of Art need to be aware of various study policies and protocols that are relevant to their work at either undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Rules and Policies
The College/Faculty 'Current Students' page provides all up to date information on rules, policies and other University requirements.

Course Assessment

Particulars of assessment (and details about each course) are set out in Course Outlines.  Each course has an Outline and students should receive them no later than the second week of semester. They are available for download HERE.

Additionally, course lecturers will provide students with more detailed information - in Course Workshop Notes - about the requirements and schedule for individual courses during class.

Ethics
ANU Human Ethics Committees consider the ethical implications of proposals for all research projects involving or impacting on human participants and determine whether or not the proposals are acceptable on ethical grounds and conform to the national guidelines. Any research involving human subjects (eg. any human interaction for the gathering of information) including the use of interview and surveys/questionnaires needs to be reviewed by an ANU Human Research Ethics Committee before it commences. For further information, including details about ethics training, see the Human Ethics at ANU webpage.
