A 2002 and 2003 Ranamok Glass Prize finalist, Brenden Scott French is an accomplished South Australian artist working in glass whose work has been included in exhibitions across Australia. An Honours graduate of the Canberra School of Art, French received an Associate of Design from the Glass Studio, Jam Factory in Adelaide and a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Glass from Sydney College of the Arts. He was the 2001 recipient of the Lino Tagliapietra International Scholarship at Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, Washington USA.

Brenden was the recipient of the Stephen Procter Fellowship in 2007, which assisted him to travel to Northlands, Scotland for a residency and returned to Canberra for a residency and solo exhibition at the newly opened Canberra Glass works.
